Competition Rules

Match Length: 60 minutes
TEAMS AND PLAYERS
1.
Participant teams must be regularly checked in the tournament's web-page. The minimum required number of player is 6.
2.
Each team must have a team captain who has to introduce himself to tournament admins; he will be the main reference for any issues may arise. It can be one of the team's players or a team manager.
3.
The team captain must remain the same person during the entire tournament.
4.
Teams are allowed to have an organizer (manager) for schedule purpose.
5.
An active player is bound to one team throughout the whole tournament period. Playing for multiple teams in the same tournament will result in disqualification for involved teams.
6.
If the name of the competitor does not match the name in the submitted roster, the competitor will be barred from competing in the tournament (roster change must be made before 30 September 2009)
Rules for Hero selection/ban
• The match will begin with a coin toss and winner of the coin toss will get to choose between:
(a) Sentinel/Scourge side of the map
(b) the first hero and ban selection from drafting
• Once the blue player finished typing –CM1 and –CM2 Depending on the result of the coin toss.
***Warning***
• If selection has not been made before the time-limit, a time-extension of 45 seconds will be allowed. After that the system will randomly choose the Hero.
• After Hero Drafting has started (the first Hero has been banned) the game must not be paused. Pausing can only be done after Drafting and only when both teams have consented.
• Mistake made during –CM mode cannot be undone (by use of Regame) if both teams have not consented.
Game Play Rules
1.Sharing of Items
• Sharing of items is allowed as long as the game permits. It is not allowed to suicide to pass Rapier
2.Item restrictions
• Necronomicon : 1 can be create for each team.
• Mekansms : 1 can be create for each team.
• Eul's Scepter of Divinity : 2 can be create for each team.
• Pipe : 1 can be create for each team.
3. Creep Blocking and Base Entrance Blocking
• Creep blocking permanently is not allowed but creep slowing/delay or luring is allowed. It is not allowed to block creeps with the help of spells, such as fissure, sprout etc. it is only allowed to use the hero model to intercept with creeps (accidental blocks are okay, as long as the fissure - for example - was directed at an opposing hero).
• It’s not allowed to block the base entrance for defensive purpose with the help of spells, such as fissure.
4. Backdooring
• Backdooring is allowed
5. Bugs Exploitation (Warning, Game Loss or Disqualification)
• No Exploitation of any known old or new bug discovered during game play. No excuses will be entertained. Ignorance is not an excuse. Participants/Teams are expected to know what these bugs are. Participants/teams that experience any abnormal game play are advised to inform the marshal on duty immediately.
6. Cheating (Disqualification)
• Any kind of cheat is strictly prohibited. Warkeys/Dotakeys are allowed.
7.Pause Game
• After each team have chosen their Hero, both team are not permitted to pause the game without the approval of the judge. Failure to comply will result in a warning at the minimum or loss by default for the offending player.
DISCONNECTIONS
1. Regaming at the request of a team or if a player has been disconnected can only be done under the following conditions.
• Disconnect before the first hero has been killed
2. Regaming
• The same set of Heroes must be use. In case of substitution, the other players are not allowed to change Hero.
• The Hero in the Lane for the start of the game must not change.
• Item purchased by each player must not change.
3. Game saving and/or game loading must be approved by the observing judge first. The game must be paused before saving. Game Saving process is as follows:
• After First Blood
• After major encounter such as defense of the Tower
• Every 15 minutes
• Game Saving should be done when both teams are ready to save the game. The observer will use “Chat All” feature of the game to ask for permission from both teams before pausing and then saving game.
Rules regarding Score Count (in case the outcome is not decided in regulation time)
If the outcome of the match has not been decided in regulation time (60 minutes), the winner of the match will be decided by Score Count with the following rules.
• 1 Barrack = 5 points
• 1 Tower = 3 points
• 1 Kill = 1 point
• Death does not count
GENERAL BEHAVIOUR
Participant teams and players must always have good manners and respect other players and the Admin/organization staff. A team may receive a warning, default loss or disqualification if one of his players commits any of the following:
• refuses to follow tournament official rules
• uses insulting language
• makes fun of the opponent players or the admin staff
• shows an unsporting behaviour
• tries to scam admins
A player may receive a warning or ban if he commits any of the following:
• refuses to follow tournament official rules
• uses insulting language
• makes fun of the opponent players or the admin staff
• shows an unsporting behaviour
• tries to scam admins

1.The admins reserve the rights to add and/or change rules.
2.The decision of the judge is final.
